All candidates will be required to study a unit in statistics and data handling and another unit negotiated with the School. Other requirements for the course include a literature review directly related to the thesis, and a dissertation. Students will be required to present their research work at a seminar.
This on-campus course is offered at Launceston and requires a minimum of 2 semesters full-time or part-time equivalent study.
Course objectives
The honours degree in Biomedical Science is designed to provide students with the theoretical and practical skills necessary for research in Biomedical and Health Science and to gain a greater expertise in various disciplines.
