Course objectives
The Bachelor of Paramedic Practice (Honours) prepares students for career development upon completion of their Paramedic Practice degree. By providing a year of training in research, it aims to give students a competitive edge in post-graduate and vocational study, or in seeking employment in the profession or for academic work.
Career outcomes
The Paramedic profession offers a diverse range of career opportunities. On completion of the BParaPrac, graduates will work in an approved Ambulance Service. Graduates of the BParaPrac (Hons) will be well placed for advanced vocational career pathways, including clinical practice, research and education.
Professional Recognition
While there is no professional recognition, students will gain skills to allow them to move into research related areas. It will also prepare students for research related activities required on later vocational pathways.

Entry requirements
Eligibility
Completion of at least three years of 100% load in B.Paramedic Practice or similar approved course interstate; with credit average, or equivalent.

Fees & scholarships
Domestic students
Domestic students enrolled in a full fee paying place are charged the Student Services and Amenities Fee but this fee is incorporated in the fees you pay for each unit you enrol in. Full fee paying domestic students do not have to make any additional SSAF payments.
