Career outcomes

I enjoyed the challenge of finding the answers myself without being hand-fed, knowing my supervisors were always available – the guidance and support I received from my supervisors and coordinators really helped to get me through my postgraduate experience.

Lyn Tram, Master of Clinical Pharmacy

Pharmacy practice is changing with time. Pharmacists are becoming more involved in day to day management of complex diseases including:

  • working as clinical consultants managing drug therapy regimens
  • providing leadership in clinical trials and research in pharmaceutical industry and healthcare organisations
  • providing professional clinical services within community pharmacy settings

Within Australia and overseas, the Master of Clinical Pharmacy is often considered preferable for senior clinical positions.

Completion of the Master of Clinical Pharmacy can also prepare you for enrolment in a Research Higher Degree.

"This course has allowed me to build on my knowledge and understanding of clinical pharmacy and different disease states, and will open up opportunities for me to work in a variety of clinical settings."
