Foundations of Paramedicine CAA100
Introduction
This unit serves as the foundation unit to the Bachelor of Paramedicine. In this unit students will be supported to develop an understanding of different social and cultural perspectives of health and wellbeing in relation to individuals and the broader community. Students will explore factors of everyday life that contribute to positive well-being in both an individual and group sense. Students will be introduced to the concepts of ethical and professional practice, clinical decision-making, and mindful practice in paramedicine.
