Policies and Systems in Dementia 2 CAD603
Introduction
This unit engages students with the primary research literature in policies and systems focused on meeting the needs of people with dementia. Factors such as budget, access, equity and culture are considered in appraising the approaches taken by governments and administrations worldwide, which are evaluated in terms of meeting the specific needs of individuals and countries as a whole. Students are assessed both online for the content modules, and in the form of written MyContext assignments requiring the student to directly relate the course material to their individual professional and/or personal
context.
