Hobart
Introduction
This unit engages students with the primary research literature in public health policies and the design of interventions related to dementia. The evidence base for existing and proposed interventions is examined, and across multiple countries the question of effective use of public health budgets to address the current and potential impact of dementia is evaluated. Students choose five content modules from a range of options to tailor their learning to particular interests, and are assessed both online for the content modules, and in the form of a written MyContext assignment requiring the student to directly relate the course material to their individual professional and/or personal context.
