Introduction
This unit engages students with the primary research literature in public health policies and the design of interventions related to dementia. The evidence base for existing and proposed interventions is examined, and across multiple countries the question of effective use of public health approaches to address the current and potential impact of dementia is evaluated. Students are assessed in part in the form of a written MyContext assignment requiring the student to directly relate the course material to their individual professional and/or personal context.
