Community and Public Health Approaches to Dementia 2 CAD604
Introduction
This unit provides students with the opportunity to extend and apply the knowledge of community and public health approaches to dementia built in CAD504. You will engage with the primary research literature and apply public health knowledge to specific community contexts. The evidence base for existing and proposed initiatives is examined, and across multiple countries the effective use of public health approaches to address the current and potential impact of dementia is evaluated. You will be assessed in part in the form of a written MyContext assignment requiring you to directly relate the course material your own professional and/or personal context.
