Introduction

This unit discusses human disease and provides students with an understanding of recent advances and innovation in the areas of inflammation, medical microbiology, and immunology. In addition, the unit is designed to enable students to develop skills to become effective research scientists and will involve critical review of scientific literature, experimental design and execution, interpretation and analysis of data, and communication (oral and written form) of scientific concepts
