Introduction

This unit expands on the introductory immunology from KLA210 and CJA212. Areas that will receive extended coverage include advanced immunological mechanisms, the immunopathology of disease, the manipulation of the immune system to protect against infectious and non-infectious disease. Practical and project assignment work will reinforce the concepts covered in the lectures and contribute to the final assessment.
