Patient/client assessment is regarded as a core component for professional nursing practice in ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care. This foundational unit aims to introduce and facilitate the development of students' beginning level competence and accountability in health and physical assessment skills and processes utilising a clinical reasoning framework
