Introduction

Students are introduced to what it means to be a developing Registered Nurse in contemporary nursing practice. This unit focuses attention on learning about the essential components of making the transition from beginning level towards achieving proficiency as a Registered Nurse. The introduction of a professional practice portfolio is used to facilitate this process.
