Launceston
Introduction
This unit explores the integration of professional, gerontological-practice models of care for older people as they transition through acute, sub-acute, community and residential care in the context of complex regulatory, policy and political frameworks. You will examine a number of professional gerontological practice models from the perspective of the older client and the health professional through the changing approaches to service design and evidence-based practice.
