Introduction
This unit introduces students to the role of the orthopaedic nurse in the clinical area and examines the musculoskeletal system and health assessments across the life span in relation to orthopaedic conditions. A range of degenerative disorders will be explored. Students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with diagnostic tools used in clinical practice.

- Apply advanced clinical assessment and problem solving skills to the care of the patient with an orthopaedic condition
