Introduction
Project Management for Health Professionals provides students with the foundational knowledge required to appreciate and implement practical approaches to project management in health sciences. Students will extend their skills in the utilisation of research evidence to refine and deepen their understanding of the processes involved in project management. This unit has a focus on developing the strategies necessary to initiate, plan, implement, evaluate, finalise and disseminate the results of a health sciences project.

- Develop a project plan based on evidence of best practice in response to an identified issue.
- Propose evaluation strategies that assess impact and outcome of a project.
- Implement various communication strategies relevant to promoting teamwork and project management.
- Discuss potential ethical implications of project work.
