Introduction
This unit builds on CNA756. The content of this unit focuses on the varied anatomical and physiological conditions seen by the perioperative nurse within a selection of different specialities in the perioperative environment. Special considerations relating to nursing different patient cohorts undergoing surgery are also explored. Leadership and management in the perioperative environment will also be examined.
