Students are expected to have access to children in an acute setting.
Introduction
This unit offers students the opportunity to extend their knowledge, skills and competencies in caring for the acutely ill infant, child and adolescent. Students will examine the pathophysiology of disease, pharmacology, nursing assessment and management of paediatric conditions.
