Contemporary Critical Care Nursing Science CNA773

Introduction

This unit builds upon the knowledge, understanding and skills developed in CNA772 Interpreting Patient Deterioration. The content of this unit focuses on the scientific theories related to nursing the critically ill patient with single and multi-organ systems failure. Specialised cardiothoracic and neuromedical pathology will be explored as will principles of nursing the critically ill child and obstetric patient.
