Introduction

This unit explores the role of the emergency nurse in the clinical setting. Clinical practice is an integral part of the unit, through which students explore practice issues in the area of emergency care. The unit focuses on the development of effective communication skills, accurate assessment and prioritisation skills, and the integration of knowledge and evidence based practice concepts learned from CNA772.
