Introduction
This unit builds on CNA920 and provides theory required in the design and practical application of methodologies and methods in practice. This unit will expose students to real world examples of the application of methods and methodologies in practice, exploring measuring outcomes of research, examining what research programmes actually deliver, where do research questions come from, how is research designed to answer these questions, how are those answers used to solve problems and bring about change.
Practical application of Ethics and ethical dilemmas that may arise during the research process, data gathering, analysis, and interpretation will be provided. The importance and methods of communicating findings and impact will be explored.
