Teaching Pattern

4 hours of lectures and 2 hours of tutorials each week for 10 weeks of semester, plus four hospital-based clinical rounds/tutorials.

Assessment

1 mid-semester written test (20%), 1 end of semester oral exam (15%), 1 medication management plan assessment (10%) and 1 x 2-hr end of semester written exam (55%).

The final mark for CSA306 is an aggregate based on the weighted marks from CSA322 (2/3) and CSA306 (1/3).

A student must achieve ≥50% in the end of year (CSA306) written exam plus an overall aggregate mark of ≥50% to pass CSA322 and CSA306.
