Units are offered in attending mode unless otherwise indicated (that is attendance is required at the campus identified). A unit identified as offered by distance, that is there is no requirement for attendance, is identified with a nominal enrolment campus. CSA231 must be completed prior to CSA355 or enrolled in the same study period.

Teaching Pattern | 1 x 1 hour online module weekly, 1 x 3 hour workshop weekly. |

Assessment | On successful completion of all components of CSA355 students receive an IC (Interim Completion) result. The final mark for CSA355 is a composite of the marks for CSA355 and CSA357, based on a 1/3 weighting of CSA355 and 2/3 weighting of CSA357. Assessment in CSA355 includes: a pharmaceutical calculations quiz (10%), a complementary and alternative medicines assignment (10%), a 3-hour practical exam (50%) and an oral exam (30%, 15 minutes). In order to pass CSA355/7 the student must pass both the practical exam and the oral exam in CSA357. |
