Research Project CSA418

Introduction

Research Project builds on the knowledge and skills gained in CSA288 Evidence Based Health Care, CSA321 Clinical Pharmacy Research and CSA3XB Innovation in Medicines Safety. Students will participate in a group-based research/quality assurance project. Projects will be designed under the supervision of academic staff to investigate potential medication safety issues or gaps in practice while on professional placements in CSA4XA and/or CSA4XB. In groups, students will initially perform a review of the literature to inform a project plan. After undertaking the project, findings will be presented in the form of a scientific manuscript and oral presentation.
