Teaching Pattern

An average of 4 x 1 hr lectures weekly; A total of 5 x 3 hr workshops and 8 x 3 hr practical classes. 1 x Residential Medication Management Review visit, 1 x Alcohol and Drug Service visit.
Total hours = 91hrs + 2 visits

Assessment

Practical oral examination (35%); 
Performance in practical classes (5%);
Two-hour written theory examination (20%);
In-class test (10%);
RMMR/HMR report (10%);
Professional service pitch (15%);
Drug information pitch (5%).

To be eligible to sit the practical examination you are expected to submit the assignments, to attend all practical classes and achieve a pass mark for practical class performance. To achieve a PASS in this unit, you must pass both of the practical and theory examinations.
