Introduction
This unit introduces the determinants of health and wellbeing including lifestyle factors. Students are introduced to the types of measures that are used in reporting health information and the ways in which this information is presented and utilised. Students will learn to understand the importance of health measures and develop practical skills required to present health data and interpret the results. The unit will demonstrate the purpose of different methods of determining human health and how this information can be used to inform health policy and practice.
