Launceston

Introduction

This unit provides students with the opportunity to develop skills in areas relevant to research in exercise and sports or nutrition sciences. Students will have the opportunity to select a topic of interest from a pre-defined list within their general field of study for detailed investigation. The detailed investigation and presentation of the findings will be performed as part of a small group, where each student submits their own Project Justification and Literature Review, but the Final Project Report and Oral Presentation are assessed as a group. The final report will take the format of a research manuscript and will follow the author guidelines for an appropriate journal. The exact nature of the final report will depend on the group topic and will be finalised in writing with the Unit Coordinator.
