Introduction
This unit is designed to meet ESSA accreditation criteria in Exercise Physiology in the cardiovascular and pulmonary domains. Students apply foundational knowledge of cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, comorbidities and treatments, safety, risk and capacity monitoring considerations, to design and translate into practice, safe, evidence-based exercise interventions for clients with cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions.
