Introduction

This unit is designed to meet the new ESSA accreditation criteria in Exercise Physiology in the Metabolic, Renal and Cancer domains. Students apply foundational knowledge of metabolic, renal and cancer conditions and comorbidities, and treatments, safety, risk and capacity monitoring considerations, to design and translate into practice, safe, evidence-based exercise interventions for clients with metabolic, renal and cancer conditions.
