Introduction

Professional Practicum 2 is the second practicum unit for this course. This unit will provide you with an opportunity to observe and practice the application of psychology in a structured and supervised setting/s. The practicum will promote a scientist‐practitioner model of the professional psychologist with opportunities to develop competencies and increase level of independence. You will be expected to consider therapeutic issues and
apply techniques while on field placement. This will be reflected in your interaction with clients, standard of case formulations, and demonstrated understanding of assessment and the therapeutic process.
