Entry requirements
Admission Prerequisites
The entry requirements for these courses are given below:
An undergraduate degree of an Australian higher education institution or the equivalent standard in any other institution and at least two years' work experience
or
A Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Maritime and Logistics Management
or
A professional qualification such as a Certificate of Competency as a Master Class 1 (Unlimited) or Chief Engineer and at least two years' work experience.
or
If a first degree or professional qualification is not held, candidates may apply to the Department of Maritime and Logistics Management for consideration of their eligibility. These applicants are assessed on their work experience, other qualifications and current managerial responsibilities; a GMAT assessment may be required.
International students with English as a second language will need to have an IELTS score of 6, with no band less than 6.
Articulation from
Students who have commenced or completed the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Maritime and Logistics Management can move into the MBA (MLM) program with credit for units successfully completed, provided the MBA(MLM) course requirements are met.
Articulation to
Candidates can progress to a research program by applying for entry to the Master of Philosophy or Doctor of Philosophy.
Fees & scholarships
Domestic students
Domestic students enrolled in a full fee paying place are charged the Student Services and Amenities Fee but this fee is incorporated in the fees you pay for each unit you enrol in. Full fee paying domestic students do not have to make any additional SSAF payments.
International students
International students should refer to the International Students course fees page to get an indicative course cost.
