Combining studies in maritime engineering with management, this course will give you the expertise to manage engineering projects in the maritime industry. The course builds on your existing skillsets to improve the design, performance and research of maritime vessels and systems. Your studies will cover maritime engineering topics including ship design, propulsion systems and associated auxiliary machinery.

This program is aimed at engineering professionals already in the workforce, but with limited exposure to the maritime engineering sector.  Graduates follow careers in technical engineering and management across a broad range of maritime sectors.

Domestic students

Domestic students enrolled in a full fee paying place are charged the Student Services and Amenities Fee but this fee is incorporated in the fees you pay for each unit you enrol in. Full fee paying domestic students do not have to make any additional SSAF payments.
