Course objectives
The course aims to provide:
- Advanced training and consequent in-depth knowledge within a particular discipline covered by natural environment and wilderness studies;
- Training in research techniques relevant to that discipline to enable either postgraduate research entry or employment in research.
Career outcomes
Honours graduates are highly competitive for professional careers in their area of specialisation. Employment opportunities also exist in more general areas as detailed under discipline entries in the Handbook.
