Composite Steel Concrete Structures ENG713

Introduction

This unit introduces the students to composite structures and their design for strength and serviceability in accordance with Australian Standards and Eurocode. The units further explore the research of these structures and ways of their evaluation and optimisation. The syllabus also covers topics such as composite dynamic behaviour, case studies and introduction to floor design based on commonly available design aids.
