ILO 1 Establish a design of structural steel members of a fixed offshore structure

ILO 2 Apply appropriate engineering analysis and design methods for reinforced concrete beam structure

ILO 3 Correctly select and apply experimental and analytical methods to identify, characterize and classify soil and concrete material properties in accordance to industry standards and procedures

ILO 4 Evaluate a suitable design of structural foundations and anchoring systems for given soil and loading condition

3 x 1-hr lectures and 1 x 1-hr tutorial weekly (13 weeks)

Online Quiz 1 (5%), Class Test 1 (15%) and Steel Design Project (20%), Online Quiz 2 (5%), Class Test 2 (15%), Concrete Design Project and Presentation (40%)
