Design Project (Part:2/2) JEE422

This unit is taken over a full year with JEE421. This unit can only be undertaken once students have completed all year 3 units or with permission from Course Coordinator. Students must also have been enrolled in JEE421.

Introduction

This is the capstone design unit for all three BE degrees streams (NA, OE, MOE). This unit consolidates the knowledge and capabilities developed through previous years of study. Maritime engineering design involves developing complex solutions through the combined inputs of various discipline specialists. This unit develops further management skills including, the ability to work with team members from other fields of study.
