This unit explores the employment relationship and the importance of strategically managing people from their initial talent attraction through to retirement or termination. In working through this unit studies are focussed on effective and efficient strategic human resource management as an important means of creating value and developing a sustainable competitive advantage.

On-campus: Weekly are a flipped intensive session/class comprising of a brief interactive discussion based on course material and readings followed by workshop activities.
Distance: Study Guide and Readings.
Assessed, facilitated on-line discussions combining the on-campus and distance classes.
On-campus: Coursework 60%, Examination 40%
Distance: Coursework 60%, Take-home Examination 40%
