Introduction
This unit exposes students to contemporary management practices in ports. The unit covers a broad range of topics including port governance, port-centric logistics and supply chains, investment and finance, strategic port planning, performance measurement, marketing strategies, regulatory framework, environmental sustainability, human capital and strategies for sustainable growth. Students will have the opportunity to explore issues that pose significant challenges to port operations in the 21st century.
