Introduction

In many industries, marketing as a discipline is the central focus of an organisation's operations. However, marketing has always been something of an unknown quantity in the maritime and logistics industries. This unit aims to remove that anomaly by creating awareness of what marketing can offer to enable the student to apply marketing and services marketing principles and concepts to their management position in the maritime and logistics industries.
