Launceston

Introduction

The unit develops critical knowledge and understanding of procurement from the logistics and supply chain management perspectives. It covers the procurement process, procurement management strategies, global sourcing, supplier relationship management; cost management; information technologies and future developments, and practical applications in various contexts, such as procurement for various types of goods and services, procurement for the public sector, outsourcing and project management. It is crucial to the in-depth understanding of logistics management and the ability to do critical thinking and strategic planning of logistics operations.
