STCW Short Course certificate issued on successful completion.
Credit will be given for Ship Security Officer's STCW certificate holders.
When applying for Certificate of Competency, Security Awareness should also be included on AMSA Form 419 application.
On completion of this unit learners will have the skills and knowledge required to perform ship security related duties as required under the requirements of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS Code).
