Marine Confined Space Entry JVD182

This unit is a 1 day short course and may be delivered multiple times in each study period. In order to complete 6.25% load it should be combined with enrolment or credit in the following units: JVD183 Marine Damage Control 1.5%,  JVD184 Long Range Operator Certificate of Proficiency 3.25% OR : JVD183 Marine Damage Control 1.5% and JVD124 Marine Mathematics I 3.25%

Introduction

This unit involves knowledge and skill development that will allow you to follow and apply any established practises concerning confined spaces on board vessels. The primary focus of the unit is to understand the regulatory framework to undertake this work in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, recommendations and standards. This will be achieved by applying through practice your developed knowledge and skill.
