Advanced Fire Fighting JVD210

Introduction

To provide the student with the skills and knowledge required to take command, organise and train fire parties and control fire fighting operations. The student will have acquired knowledge of fire prevention and an ability to inspect and service fire detection and extinguishing systems and equipment. The student will also be able to investigate and report on incidents involving fire.

Equivalent to: MARF011 Manage fire-fighting and fire prevention activities on board a vessel.
