  • Coordinate the safe evacuation of crew/passengers into survival craft following an emergency at sea
  • Operate survival craft and associated equipment to manoeuvre clear of the ship after abandonment
  • Manage routines in survival craft and take action to best aid detection and rescue by SAR services
