Introduction

This unit has been designed to provide the learner with the required advanced knowledge and skills to contribute for the safe operation of a Liquefied Gas tanker by understanding the hazards and taking precautions to prevent them.

This unit meets the learning outcomes of A-V/1-2 paragraph 2 and table A-V/1-2-2 of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, STCW 2010 (Manila Amendments).
