Note:

This unit is a 5.5 day short course and may be delivered multiple times in each study period.

Introduction

To provide the student with the skills and knowledge required to react appropriately in an emergency situation, where a casualty has been injured at sea, or is acutely ill, and to use those items of first aid equipment found in ship's medical outfit which are not included in the standard first aid kit.
