Component Fabrication JVE139
Delivered under agreement with Alanvale TASTafe.
Introduction
This unit provides the students with the knowledge and skills to plan and carry out marine ¿engineering related fabrication on-board ships. They are provided with the knowledge and ¿skills to plan, manage and use fabrication machinery and tools, including lathe, milling and ¿drilling machines.¿ This unit meets the requirements for knowledge, understanding and proficiency set out by ¿the current Maritime Training Package , the STCW 2010 (Manila Amendments), Table A-¿III/1 of the STCW code and relevant AMSA Marine Orders.
