Introduction

This unit provides the students with the knowledge and skills to plan, manage, and carry out ¿maintenance work in pneumatic and hydraulic systems and test machinery components for ¿micro-cracks using dye penetrant and magnetic particle testing methods.¿ This unit meets the requirements for knowledge, understanding and proficiency set out by ¿the current Maritime Training Package, the STCW 2010 (Manila Amendments), Table A-¿III/1 of the STCW code., and relevant AMSA Marine Orders
