Introduction
This unit provides the students with the knowledge and skills to plan, manage, and carry out maintenance work in pneumatic and hydraulic systems and test machinery components for micro cracks using dye penetrant and magnetic particle testing methods.
This unit meet the requirements for knowledge, understanding and proficiency set out by the Maritime Training Package MAR, the STCW 2010 (Manila Amendments) and Table A-III/1 and AIII/2 of the STCW code.
