Introduction

This unit enables students to undertake external studies offered by other universities where the subject matter is not provided locally.

Students can choose to study one or two courses, with permission from a course coordinator, to gain credit towards their degree.

The unit is primarily for honours and postgraduate students in the science disciplines.

There are no ILOs as this is a Shell unit.
When a student is approved for enrolment in an external studies unit, the coordinator will check that the ILOs for the external studies unit align with the CLOs of the course the student is admitted into.
