Note:

Introduction

Provides a structured period of closely supervised professional education within a workplace environment.  The unit comprises a minimum of 100 days of work integrated learning and an off-campus mid-placement survey camp.  Students are mentored by supervising land surveyors. Achievement of intended learning outcomes is assessed through a competency based rubric and evidenced by an ePortfolio. The period of supervised practice contributes to the requirements of the Tasmanian Land Surveyors Accreditation Board for candidates registered with the Board.
